The 1- day tour offered by Mamacoca Expeditions is:
Day1:
- Between 3 am in the morning we headed to Pitumarca. Cusco to Pitumarca they are aproximatly 3 hours away.
It will go down a narrow dirt road near the river, you pass through a small canyon and then get to Quechunuño, in this point we are take a breakfast buffet. - After breakfast; We start walking 8 kilometers to the top, during the course of the hike we can see mountains, snow peaks, llamas, alpacas, etc . The way have beautifull landscapes.
- Throughout the tour we have a professional guide who will show us the way to reach this majestic place.
- After 4 hours of walking we reach the impresive viewpoint of the mountain of “seven colors” or “rainbow mountain”, where we panoramic and breathtaking views, we can see mountains and snow peaks, llamas, alpacas, etc
- After taking photos and relax while enjoying this paradise aphrodisiac, we begin to descend for about 3 hours to have lunch and finally return to Cusco at 7 or 8 pm approximately.
